Games for Gifts

My parents don't buy Christmas gifts for the 'grown' kids, but came up with a game to add a little giving fun.  They wrap some gift cards in boxes, boxed in boxes, boxed in more boxes, and tape each one up with duct and packing tape.  We all gather in a circle and take turns rolling the dice.

When someone rolls doubles, they get to put not he work gloves and take a turn opening the package.

The dice keep going around and when someone else rolls doubles...

They steal the gloves from you and it's now their turn to start ripping into the package.

It gets a little wild and crazy.

And actually feels a little bit like this!

It's actually a lot of work getting to the goods!

Derek succeeded and got one!  ...by bending the tin apart!
And notice he has the gloves on the wrong hands?  It's all crazy during this game.

Derek and I actually both scored a gift card going home with two out of four! Ha.  I got Starbucks and Derek got Marshall's, which he traded Mona for a Cabela's.   Thanks, Mom & Dad!
