Kylee's Party

After Tanganyika, my boys came to see Alexa some more.
...who I don't think was getting enough attention.  :)

Then that evening we headed to a friend's birthday party. Kylee was turning three!
(I played high school basketball with her Mommy, Rachel, and we've stayed close since.)

There was a meal served... catered SUBWAY sandwiches.  One of my boy's very favorite foods!!

Miles fell asleep on the way to the party and even telling him (practically yelling) that there were Subway sandwiches wasn't bringing him out of his nap.

We let him sleep until we sang and were eating cake.

Then sat him up and tried to feed him. Ha.
(My pictures are horrible quality, I apologize.)

Once he got going, he did wake up.

Miles ate some dinner while Kylee opened gifts.

Cooper creeped in for a front row view.

While Miles moved on to cake.

Cooper was very intrigued by this particular gift Kylee received.
A fish!

Rachel had a game for the kids to play.
She tied a balloon to each child's ankle...

Then whoever's balloon was popped last won.
Miles might have stood in the corner and cried after his got popped.  HA.

He wasn't the only one with tears.  The birthday girl didn't appreciate this game much either.

After I looked at the photos on my phone, (Yes, horrible quality and all) we noticed that Miles actually popped his own balloon... Ha ha ha ha ha.   Does laughing about this whole thing make me a bad or insensitive parent? :)  Because we laughed quite a bit!

Rachel gave all the kiddos new balloons to smooth things over! Thanks, Rachel!  We all had a great time (a few tears over balloons didn't dampen that) celebrating sweet Kylee!

We headed back to Mom's for a little while before our final destination at Mleyneks...  so I snuck in bedtime cuddles with my newest niece.  Apparently she'd been fussy that evening... apparently she just wanted Aunt Amy.  :)

Then just a quick card game before we wrapped up our day.
