Alexa's Dedication

We were able to be at New Foundation for Alexa's dedication. 

We do this rather than infant baptism.  It's the parents dedicating their child to God and committing to raise that child as best they can to love and serve Him.  And family members and church people committing to stand beside them and help them.

Both Great Grand-Fathers prayed after Dad did the dedication part.

Lexa slept through the whole thing, including the rest of the church service.

...which Miles slept through too.

And I thought Jonah might join them, but he never gave in.

Back at Mom's we took advantage of everyone together and the photo op!

Then we ate lunch and had some pool time.

Great G'ma Jan got right in the pool with the kids...

Proving that 80 is the new 20. :)
