We recently went for an afternoon hike at Jubilee College State Park.
We hit the trails that go in a loop through the park.
These boys enjoy time in the woods!
We wanted to do some Morel mushroom hunting, which Miles heard as just "hunting" and was disappointed when he realized we didn't bring any weaponry. He got over it quickly. :)
We were a little late in the season and only found two mushrooms...
So we just did a lot of hiking.
Some of trails go along fields.
This is when the boys were on the hunt for a geocache. AKA: Treasure!
They found it!
Just a rolled up paper to sign and date.
They quickly moved onto catching grasshoppers.
All of that was pretty tiring though. Miles hitched a ride near the end.
Cooper was having some fatigue too.
So Daddy carried them both for a short while!
We enjoyed the great outdoors and time together.
And pretty much wore ourselves out.
