We've wrapped up school for the year and the weather has warmed up. Time to get out the pool! I bought one on sale at the end of the summer last year and we've never opened it...
Until a couple weeks ago!
Cooper was eager to help set it up. Especially when he could hold the hose.
(Miles was napping or he'd have been there too)
And as soon as there was an inch of water in it, he ran and put his swim trunks on.
I know he was freezing and maybe even going numb.
When Miles woke up he came to check it out.
And got in too...
But it didn't take long before they need to thaw out warm up.
So they jumped to dry off.
The next day was Memorial Day, so we were out swimming first thing.
Miles likes to collect the toys.
And Cooper collected a caterpillar.
The pool doesn't get much sun, so it's not warming up very well. But we've made the most of summer so far anyway. Ice cream is best eaten outside...
And in beween freezing cold plunges, Miles gave Cooper a back "massage".
I got myself a lawn chair to lay in while the boys swim.
...you can see that's working out well. :)
We've had to patch a hole already...
But so far it's holding and we still have water in the pool!
We love summer!
