...What You Wish For

"I wouldn't mind just a little more snow..." -exact quote I wrote in yesterday's post.

We woke up this morning to this:

And big beautiful flakes have been falling on and off all day.  It's really wet, heavy, slushy snow which isn't what we've been used to this winter.  And a lot of it melted as it fell making our total accumulation less impressive in the record books.  Still pretty!

So, since it's snowing again, the rest of this post is about a day last week when we went outside to play.   In the snow...  of course.

We grabbed our sleds and headed to the neighbor's little hill.

Miles was scared but we shoved him off anyway.  :)

He said "Weeeee" all the way and asked to go again.

Even after a few minor collisions, they were still saying it was fun.

We made snow angels.

Or at least took a break while moving arms.

There were also some snowball fights involved.

And even though it was a lot of work just to walk around...

We had a good time!
