Out and About

With a few days of temps near 60º we headed outside for recess.

...where I gave the boys the job of picking up sticks.

We got quite a collection of them that had been hiding under all the snow.

Then it was time to play a little.

They even found the sandbox, some of the sand was still frozen though. 

But they soon dug right in.

And Miles decided water from a puddle would be good...

So he carried some back to the sandbox...

And dumped it in.

Turns out frozen sand holds water for a 'lake' nicely.

And then this happened.   I didn't even try to stop them, what was the point? HA. 

After the winter we've had, they earned this.  :)

Then we climbed aboard the 'pirate ship' and cruised around a little.

And fit in quick bike ride before we went inside.

The next morning, our pile of sticks was covered in snow again.

So we finally saw our yard again...

And the next morning it looked like this.

And then we had two more days of 60º weather and snow again this morning.

Surely this is the start of spring.  :)
