We got home on Cooper's Birthday and ate Sweet & Sour Meatballs I'd put in the crock pot that morning. Part way through lunch, Ethan asked, "Is this deer meat?" and I wasn't sure how to answer in case it was about to gross him out. :) When Cooper said it was... (most meat at our house is!) Ethan exclaimed, "Cool!". Ha. And whew!
Miles had fallen asleep on the way home from church, but once he finally woke up from his nap, we broke out the birthday cake.
While Miles ate a late lunch, the rest of us gathered to sing.
Including cousin Ethan via FaceTime.
Cooper started out enjoying the song.
And then got a little embarrassed.
But he recovered quickly and blew out the candles.
They couldn't decide on what treat they wanted so Cooper and Ethan had chocolate cake, mint chip ice cream AND root beer floats.
A kid only turns six once, right? :)
Miles opted for just cake.... but quite a bit of it!
