We got to attend my parent's church, New Foundation, while we were in Wichita. It was the Sunday before Christmas so it was the brunch and Christmas program.
We enjoyed a wide spread of delicious food. The boys opted for donuts, muffins and fruit.
There were some Christmas Carols led by the worship team to start the service.
You may recognize a few of my family members. It was fun to hear Drew lead.
Some of the kids did a song with bells.
Ethan paid attention to when it was his turn to ring his bell.
And he got really into it... so much fun!
He also had a speaking line. He did great.
Next all the kids went up to sing.
Cooper and Miles got in on this which was fun since we missed out on the Christmas singing at our church in Peoria.
They sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and blew out candles.
And each exited the stage with a cupcake.
Derek's parent's church had decided to cancel church because of ice and snow, but New Foundation went ahead with services... so Derek's parents came with us to church. It was fun to have them with us.
Before we left, G'ma (Cheri) gave Ethan a snowball.
And encouraged an indoor snowball fight.
It was fun... and wet.
All dressed up for church we decided to have a Mleynek Family photo op.
A fun morning with both sides of our family!
