My parents had purchased a Groupon package to The Alley and planned a bowling night while we were all together. We picked an evening that ended up being cosmic bowling...
Miles was sporting his new shirt from Aunt Anna.
Once we all changed shoes, located the right weight bowling balls and set up players on the lanes (only one person ended up with their name on two lanes on accident) we were ready to bowl.
It was a pretty steady flow of bowling after that.
Some of the kids needed a little help to get going.
(How many grown men does it take to help a toddler bowl?)
But it didn't take long for everyone to get the hang of it.
Cooper did pretty well.
And we only had to call someone to retrieve one of his stuck or oddly placed balls twice. :)
We all had fun watching... But Ethan had the best view.
Or if you're a paranoid personality like me,
manning the ball return to protect fingers from getting smashed...
There may or may not have been a little goofing off.
Bowling is fun, fun, fun.
Next we headed over to the arcade area.
Where we got in line for the laser maze.
The Groupon purchased was a package that included a trip through this room of laser lights.
The kids had fun going through the course trying to avoid lasers...
and tagging the lights as they went.
There was a monitor outside the room, so everyone could watch.
There was a scoreboard that kept track of who made it though fastest and without hitting a laser.
I don't think Angie and Jonah won. :)
Cooper still asks regularly to go back to the laser maze, so maybe a return trip is in order sometime. We were all worn out though so we headed back to Grandma's for bedtime.
Thanks for a fun evening, Mom & Dad/G'ma & Papa!
