We woke up on our "Christmas" morning to a beautiful winter wonderland!
And stockings that had been filled.
Good morning, boys!
This is always one of my favorite times...
Watching them open little unexpected gifts while sipping my coffee.
We didn't get to lounge around as much as I like though before these guys went to shovel us out.
We had games to play at the gym.
Cooper had 9am basketball. We did get our laugh for the day when after Cooper made three shots in a row his coach told him good job and Cooper proudly replied, "My parents played basketball. My Dad has a trophy. It says "93."!
When we got back home these guys wanted to hit the yard.
And talked Daddy into joining them.
Daddy does the hard part, while the boys eat snow and make tracks on every inch of our yard.
They did actually help, I saw them. And really wanted in on adding the nose...
And eyes.
Miles even contributed this arm. :)
Snowman complete!
And another "Christmas" in the books!
Fun to have snow during your Christmas! I hope we get some for Christmas Eve too (on the 24th) and then it can stop for the rest of the winter. :)
ReplyDeleteWe tried your Christmas Eve salad last night - loved it! Thanks for the link to the recipe :)
Merry Christmas to you all. Call us if you need a potty stop in Kansas City or stay overnight.
Andrew has those same jammies! He's been wearing them all day today!
