iFishing

We went fishing with friends... back to the iPhone swallowing lake.  My boys wanted to leave anything not attached to their person in the car for fear I would drop it in the water.  Ha.  I was a little timid to take my phone down to the dock... and the only fish caught by my boys were caught in the boat, where I did not take my phone this time!

This fishing spot is a lake behind Aiden and Emma's grandparents house.  We go to church with Aiden and Emma's family and have enjoyed getting to know them.

Miles really likes Aiden and talks about him at home often.

We fished and ate and then roasted marshmallows for s'mores.
Our friends Lily and Evan and their parents were there too.

Buffi, their Mom, caught this fish.  And even trusted me to walk down to the dock with her phone and snap this photo.

Jessica, who is Emma and Aiden's Mom, helped Cooper find the perfect roasting spot.

Before we left the kids found a tree frog.

...and stuck him on the glass door.

And right before we left, Miles found a toad.

And was still in tears at home because I didn't let him bring it home.

I say: Better him crying over a 'lost' toad than me crying over a lost phone.  :)
