We've had a LOT of rain lately. As in the Illinois River is threatening to overspill it's banks yet again. Rain and storms don't allow for much fishing time. But when he can't head over to the pond with Daddy, Cooper often settles for the next best thing:
Bass Pro Shop's fishing game, "The Strike" on the Wii.
And he's super serious about it... it takes a lot of concentration to reel in these "bad boys".
(I don't know where he heard that, but it's what he said to me while reeling one in the other day)
And in some ways the game might be better than real life. Cooper has been known to pull in 20-40lb fish with this game! Beats the minnow size bass and blue gill they pull out of the smelly little fishing hole. :)
