It doesn't take much to entertain us for a day.
One day I took the boys on a secret trip to the Bass Pro Shop to get a Father's Day gift for Derek. It only remained secret until that evening when they told him we'd gone to the BPS. Too much excitement to contain, I guess. They did do a good job of keeping the actual gift purchased (a net for fly fishing) a secret until Derek opened it.
We discovered there are blue gill and large mouth bass in the pond out front and
spent way too much time talking about what bait we could use to catch them. :-/
We also ran to Dollar Tree where they boys tried out the 'fun hoops'.
...a lot of bang for our buck since we didn't even buy any!
At home they played with toys they already own.
Including little brothers.
Then got to stay up a little past bedtime to watch "Flight of the Navigator" for the first time.
