Picnic Lunch

Last week we went to eat lunch with Derek at work.  His company recently moved to a new building that has a back 'yard' with a wooded area.  After we ate our picnic lunch out back the boys explored a little.

And checked out what was down in the drain pipe.

And posed for a picture.

They played with the archery target while Daddy

snuck around behind them and surprised them!

Then Cooper found a roly poly.

And a worm.

Miles took his cue from Cooper and started picking up rocks looking for little friends.

And then used the rock to hold his new friend.

When it was time to go he was determined to take both the rock and worm with us.

He was heartbroken when we told him he couldn't keep them.

...it was also nap time!  Bye, Daddy!
