It was time... we loaded up and hit the road for home.
We only made it an hour and half before our first pit stop.
Miles somehow managed to fit in a nap between stops though.
One of them being at Timberlakes so Derek could grab his tree stand.
We made it to Kansas City right around lunch time.
Derek's Dad was headed up there to attend a church conference...
So we met him for lunch!
Along with Derek's brother, Tyler, and wife, Lauren, who were on their lunch break.
We ate at Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop where the boys practiced using chop sticks.
(And I had delicious Pad Thai!)
Then we were on our way again... with too many pit stops along the way.
It felt like a long trip...
But Grandma Debbie had packed snacks for the boys to enjoy.
Cooper loves sweet peppers! He ate all of them she sent in no time.
(Then asked me to text her and tell her we needed more)
One last stop for gas...
And we made it home.
Then it was time to carry all of our things up to our third floor apartment!
