To Fill our Days

Our week in Wichita went by quickly... we filled our days with lot of random things.
So this post is a sampling.

Papa had lots of help when out working around the backyard.

Grandma had lots of help when trying to catch Daisy in the backyard.

On the days my sister Mandy works, Ethan stays at my parents. But he still gets on the school bus at his own house right after lunch. One day I took him to meet the bus... even though I know where it is, I had trouble finding his house.  Not to worry, he knows how to get there and helped me out! Only I'm pretty sure he thought Aunt Amy was crazy for being so confused...and for sure when I drove right by his house and had to back up!  He did think the Happy Meal toys in our car were fun to kill time waiting.

And then he was off on his big huge bus.

Since Ethan was at school and Miles was napping,
Cooper had Daisy to keep him company.

He discovered Daisy doesn't like him to lay on the floor.

He tried to hide from her...

But she found him anyway!

We also hung out with the Mleynek bunch.
Which meant some jumping on the trampoline.

And one day it meant Grandpa digging a splinter out of Cooper's finger.

Miles got some Grandpa time too...no splinter involved.

We stayed the first part of the week at my parent's house. Then stayed with Derek's parent's once my parent's house was needed to house other guests arriving for the wedding. This picture was taken during a goodbye to Uncle Trey for the night...it went something like:
"Goodbye, Miles, I love you."  "Goodbye Trey, I love you."

My parents each have an iPad now and my boys are convinced
it's just so that they each have one to wind down with at night...
