Our Thanksgiving

The day before Thanksgiving we made pies.  After some trial and error and phone calls, texts and picture mails to my Mom... we actually got a few finished completed!

So Thanksgiving morning we lounged around and played games while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

One of Derek's co-workers and his wife invited us to their home for the day.  Mike is one of the hosts on the Bow Hunter TV show and produces quite a few hunting magazines too.  His house is full of his hunting trophies!  Miles was enthralled with this bear skin on the wall.

And these bucks were a big deal too.

He also made friends with this duck... along with many other stuffed animals.

And one living breathing one.  Winston the black lab.

Mike and Heidi have a daughter too.  Lauren just turned seven and loved having Cooper around.  She wanted him to play in her room and Cooper said, "Well, it has a lot of pink, but it's okay.". 

She also had a fish tank, so pink was alright, I guess.

While Cooper and Lauren colored.

(They had purchased Cooper a Spiderman book he could keep!)

We also ate a great meal.  Followed by pie.

There was a lot of football watching and talking of hunting too.  We had a nice relaxing day. Fun for all!
