We went to a birthday party on Sunday.
For this young man... it's almost his 60th...
The party was an early surprise... to make sure it was a surprise.
"Grandpa Gordon" is Valerie's Dad. Valerie lives in Wichita, that's how we know her and her family. Her parents live in Peoria... so that's were the party was... and that's why we got to join.
My boys had fun playing with all the other kids.
Cooper and Koen had a blast.

And there was cake. Miles is a big fan of cake.

Miles takes after Derek on his love of cake. I'm assuming Derek still loves cake as much as when he was a kid :)
