Take a Hike

Derek has been hiking at a local park with a co-worker after work pretty often.

His co-worker was out of town so we offered to join Derek instead.  :)

This won't slow you down will it, Derek?

Both boys did pretty well.

It didn't take too long for Miles to end up here though.

And then here.

We also let Cooper stop and take a breather every now and then.

There was a lot of squirrel watching.

And then Cooper spotted these...

Three deer! A doe and two small bucks.  If you look closely you might spot them too.

Miles can run pretty fast...

But still couldn't manage to keep up with these guys all the time.

He still had fun.  The deer were a highlight for sure, listen,  he'll tell you about it:

A fun little family hike.  Though not at the same pace Derek is used to keeping.
