On my side of the family we don't all buy gifts anymore. It's a kid's only event and the cousins exchange gifts. (and Aunt Anna sneaks a few gifts under the tree for them.)
They listened to Papa read the Christmas Story before opening gifts.
There was a room full to watch them too.
And then they had fun watching each other open.
Jonah did the funniest "Happy Dance" when he opened his soccer ball!
It's pretty much just organized chaos.
...chaos that Grandpa somehow took a little snooze through!
He was awake when the kids lined up to open gifts that were from him, though.
And then somehow Jaedyn's dolls were the firemen to Ethan's truck.
And Santa must know my parents are visiting Hawaii very soon.
They had gifts under the tree to take with them and wear.
And then Miles held up Uncle Orv at gun point...
It all ended in fun and games.
And pie.
Organized chaos seems about right!
