First things first... on the way to Wauneta we met our friends at a drive-in burger joint we used to eat at when we were kids. Mac's Drive-In is in McCook. Mike later asked if was as good as we remembered... our answer was yes. In fact Angie and I each ate an order of fried mushrooms and they were delicious. Don't tell Dad, he'll be jealous. :)
At Mac's you sit down and order by picking up the phone at your booth.
When your food is ready the light below the menu lights up and you go
get your food from the window.
It was fun and yummy... and we were in good company!
