If you're one of the people that actually read every one of my posts, you might remember that Derek 'owed' me a sushi dinner in exchange for mowing the lawn. :) It was really just an excuse for a date! We dropped the boys off at Donnelly's (THANKS!) and headed to a restaurant that Megan suggested.
It had been about a year since we've been out for sushi(rolls).
We're kind of lightweights as far as sushi goes,
mostly since we don't eat it often and the rolls are cheaper than the 'real' stuff.
Even though it was my 'reward' Derek enjoyed it too.
This is a caterpillar roll. We discovered it when it came to our table on accident one time.
It has eel in it, which I didn't think I'd like, but I was wrong, it's now one of my favorites!
We enjoyed a relaxing kid free couple of hours together.
We asked Cooper to take a picture of us using my phone.

You take the best food pictures. Makes me hungry. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever had a caterpillar roll but eel is my favorite too. I think it has a little bit of a sweet flavor.
