Fishermen

So... Mom got her big kitchen.  Dad has always wanted to live on a lake.

And although the new house isn't on the lake,

the neighborhood pond is close enough to satisfy.  Win-win!

These guys were excited to go see if they could catch any fish:

And after experiencing the thrill of the catch, Jake was hooked.

He even practiced his casting in the front yard:

The fish bite pretty good and someone snagged a few fish each time they tried:

I actually reeled this one in since Dad had an incoming phone call

right as it bit his line.  One for me!  :)

Cooper doesn't mind that the fishing they've been doing is catch and release.

His favorite part is throwing the fish back in the water!

So is Papa and Grandma's new house a keeper?

My boys say, "YES"!
