What's Going on Around Here?

Answer:  We had a little get together in KC over the weekend!

If you've followed my blog for at least a year and a half... you might remember that Angie and her friend, Kristin, (who lives in Des Moines) meet at my house every year for our Annual KC Shopping Extravaganza.  This event normally takes place in December since the purpose is to get our Christmas shopping done.  All of us had conflicts in December and we never got it done...  so instead we had a spring "Girls Weekend" in May!  We spent Thursday night to Saturday noon hanging out and catching up. 

Angie brought Jonah and Jaedyn with her.  These boys have fun playing together.

And Cooper and Jaedyn had way too much fun...wearing my boots:

We also ran around a bit... these guys were troopers and enjoyed themselves.

(Derek says he'd enjoy shopping too if he got to ride in the stroller)

Mostly being silly! 

We spent some time around dressing rooms.

Even though only one dress was purchased between all of us. 

It was a nice day to walk around at Legends.

And we even saw a momma duck with fifteen babies!

Cooper and Jaedyn found a nice spot to admire the water fountain.

And came asking for money when they noticed there were coins in it. 

Angie is nice and gave them some.

They didn't waste anytime tossing it in there.

Aunt Angie also bought an afternoon treat for them while 

Kristin and I were scouring the Nike Outlet clearance rack for running shoes.  :)

These two had way too much fun and looked like this by the time we got home:

Us 'Big Girls' also did a craft.

They turned out cute and we had fun.

And I'm the only one who scalded blisters into my fingers with hot glue.
