Valentines Day Re-Cap

We had a nice Valentines Day.  Here's the messy proof!  :)

I got some Valentine Cookies cutters at the Target Dollar spot a while back. ($2.50)
Cooper has been asking since then to make heart cookies.
Once I convinced him to stop using the sticks of butter as drum sticks, we were off and running.

His favorite part...  it might as well be play-doh.

We tried out my friend Tiffany's recipe.   She just did a guest post on our Kitchen Blog... check it out. She's amazing.  We had fun, but I'll have to try this again soon so we can work on perfecting it...
We pretty much just made a (yummy) mess.  Ha.

When we checked the mail the boys had Valentine packages!

Cooper helped opened Miles' first.  A Valentine Bear from Aunt Anna!

As soon as he got his hands on it he tasted it.  It was delicious.  Who needs chocolate?

I guess Cooper does.  He moved on to his packages right away.

Although he tried to eat this pen/bracelet,
he wasn't disappointed when I showed him what it actually was.

And even though I had fair warning from the Rouses there would be confetti in the package...
Cooper still managed to dump it.  Thank you, Aunt Anna.

Grandma & Papa sent a package too... with chocolate hearts.

And Sweetart Hearts...  Mommy's favorite!  And Cooper is nice enough to share with me.

So...  Thanks for the packages, Aunt Anna!

Miles loves his cuddly bear:

And for the candy Grandma & Papa!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Valentines Day with someone sweet.

And maybe even shared a little love...

Happy Valentines Day!
