Snow Days

I referred to the "snowstorm of the century" in an earlier post.

I don't know about that, but we got over a foot of snow dumped on us Tuesday and Wednesday.

I started taking a picture every hour but by afternoon on Tuesday the window looked like this: 

It was a lot of snow for our area and pretty much shut the city down for a day. 

Derek's employer closed early so he was at home with us during the worst of the storm. 

We stayed warm inside by the fire... and decided to cook our lunch there too.

Miles watched.  Maybe he's wondering where his hot dog is?

Yummy roasted hot dogs taste good on a snowy day...
