You might have asked the following questions had you been around our house a week ago:
Why is Miles jumping in my bathroom doorway?
(By the way, he's very proud to have gotten that toy to his mouth!)
And why is Cooper eating his lunch on the same makeshift bed, in my bedroom, he slept in for three nights?
(While watching a TV show on the computer)
And Miles slept here, you ask?
It's all for the same reason I let them lay on my bed to watch Dumbo.
The answer is....
This electric radiator heater in our bedroom was our only source of heat for a few days.
It did it's job and one room of our house stayed nice and toasty.
Yep. Our furnace quit.
Thankfully Derek, with the help of a repairman who didn't charge us to diagnose the problem, fixed it!
We only had to buy the part and are thanking the Lord for this blessing!
Oh, and Buzz Lightyear helped too!
I love how the boys are holding hands while they watch Dumbo, so cute! And love that Buzz Lightyear is on backwards and Derek has a computer handy for this repair job!

ReplyDeleteI was expecting you to say you and Derek had the flu and needed the kids contained in one space - so just think the furnace was probably a good thing :)
