Stay-cation: Bass Pro Shop

Derek took the whole week off work last week. He didn't expect to still be working on the bathroom project when he planned this week off, we planned to have a "stay-cation".

We had saved up a little money and wanted to do some things around town we don't usually spend the time or money to do.

Derek spent quite a bit of time working on the bathroom...

He's doing a great job and it's looking beautiful. I'm proud of him!

Cooper thinks working on the bathroom is very fun, by the way.

But we also did fun things around town all week!

The first thing we did (in between a pre-admission appointment at the hospital and doctor appointment to hear the baby's heartbeat) was go to the Bass Pro Shop.

They have workshops and kids activities going on all summer.

Then he 'drove' around a little:

And as if he didn't ride the four wheeler around the farm enough... he did that too:

We did a craft:

We always check out the animals. The Buffalo are one of Cooper's favorites:

And a tour of the tents is always a good time:

We had a good time kicking off our stay-cation.
