Mleynek Moments - Independence in Iowa VIII

The rain let up for a while in the afternoon so Grandma took us to check out the garden

and pick some veggies to bring home... YUM!

Cooper rode his motorcycle down there...

But for some reason wanted to hold Daddy's hand too!

We made it.. Cooper checked out Grandma's garden:

And Daddy showed him a good method for eating raspberries:

They were yummy!

Uncle Bruce even shared his raspberries with Cooper.

That's saying a lot since picking and eating raspberries is one of Uncle Bruce's

favorite things on the farm! There weren't many out there yet this year...

and it was hard to get to any of them because of the mud. He shared his peas with Cooper too.

We took home some good fresh veggies!

We got our feet pretty wet and muddy, but it was worth the walk.
