Mleynek Moments - Independence in Iowa I

We had a little bit of a disappointment on the 4th of July this year. It rained and rained...and rained.

The parade and anything scheduled outdoors (Bathtub races, horse show, kids inflatables, FIREWORKS) was cancelled.

We still had a good weekend spending time with family... so I have bunches of pictures.

And so I've decided a "Mleynek Moments" blog recap will be featured on my blog for the next few days.

I snagged the pictures off of Derek's Mom's camera so I

have some of pictures Cooper's first hours in Iowa without Derek & I.

He loved riding up there with more people in the back of car with him. Beats just Mom & Dad any day:

When they got to Iowa they spent some time with Grandma Neenee and Grandpa Don:

And shot off some fireworks... of course!

We drive through Missouri where you can buy all the good fireworks...

Grandpa & Grandma stopped along the way and got Cooper this fun tank:

(He didn't want to light it though. We finally talked him into the next night and it was a good one!)
