Since Derek didn't come with us on this trip we didn't have to be home by Monday morning.
So Cooper and I stayed through Sunday. (Sorry, Derek... but the bathroom is looking great!)
We went to church and ate lunch. Then had a little time in the afternoon to do things like...
Get tickled by Papa:
And tickle Papa in return:
Relax with Uncle Jared:
And wrestle Uncle Drew:
Then we headed to the park for a New Foundation hot dog roast and softball game:
After we ate some hot dogs and watched a little of the softball game
we walked over to the water fountains:
Cooper had a great time!
He liked to lay on top of the spray and stay there:
(Angie, Anna, Me & Mom)
Cooper got nice and cooled off.
Grandma Debbie helped him wrap up and dry off:
Jake & Cooper played a little ball:
And when the adults were done on the ball diamond the kids decided to take a turn:
Cooper recruited some of his Uncles to pitch for him:
This is his batting stance:
And swing... he can actually hit pretty far. It surprised me!
Grandpa pitched a little for him too:
It was a nice night relaxing at the park:
And eating good food!
Ryan says Cooper has pretty good batting form & he's doing a good job of "squishing the bug" with his back foot. You'll have to bring his bat & ball to Iowa for a baseball game on the farm!
