To say that Cooper is obsessed with the Shim Sham is putting it lightly!
I've referred to it a couple times recently...

Cooper watches the YouTube video of Uncle Drew (Mleynek) doing this swing dance about 42
times a day. He likes to watch it and copy the moves... and he's getting pretty good!
Here he is dancing first thing in the morning.
It's pretty much the first thing he thinks about when he wakes up.
I put together this video of clips of Cooper doing the Shim Sham. Sorry it's so long!
It's just a few minutes of the hours of swing dancing everyday at our house right now.
Also, the moves are up to Cooper's interpretation.
For example: When he rubs his eye, that's the way he copies Drew holding onto the brim of his hat.
He also starts singing along and towards the end of the video he's getting the words pretty good.

I've heard that the 12 step Shim Sham anonymous program is pretty successful. You are very patient. I sang that silly song for 10 minutes after watching the video. Then I had to go get my ipod to get it out of my mind. However, Cooper is very cute doing it, and I am amazed at how accurate he is!

Drew is really happy about Cooper's love for the Shim Sham! Uncle Drew will be ready to sham with Coop asap!
