I did a post about Cooper playing with the nativity last year too.
It's funny to me to see how different his playing is a year later. Last year he was crawling over to the table and pulling himself up to move them around a little. He still moves them around too:
But they end up in different places... like on the floor making friends with a toy grasshopper:
Or visiting Mr Snowman:
Cooper talks to them too... I heard him ask Baby Jesus if he needed to go potty!
(A very common question around our house lately)
We've only had one casualty... and Derek did a good job of glueing this wise man back together.
Cooper never doubted it could be done for a minute. When he broke it he set it on the table and said, "Daddy fix it". :)
Jesus is our friend.
Very sweet. Warms my heart.
ReplyDeleteDale used a lot of superglue over the years. Now Derek is doing the same. Who is the one to take out a splinter from Cooper's finger? For the most part, that was Dale's job too.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what Cooper is up to! I've often wondered what Jesus was like as a toddler. It's great when they have the confidence that Daddy can fix it all. Love that!!
ReplyDeleteMy nephew was playing with my Mom's Christmas deer figurine. He was making it jump and the front legs broke off. Without missing a beat he goes, "it's ok G-Ma, it's a kangaroo now!" He's in college now and we still laugh about it.
