Iowa "Thanksmas"

We went to Iowa over the weekend to celebrate "Thanksmas" with the Mleyneks.
We had a great time with family and exploring the farm.

Cooper enjoyed watching Daddy and Uncle Tyler do some target practice:

He likes the dog, Alby, too:

Mikiah and Drew rode around on the four wheeler:

Until we confiscated it from them to go find some cows to show Cooper:

We found some. "Hi, cows!"

Cooper and Grandma Debbie "talked" on an antique phone:

Uncle Tyler helped Cooper go a little faster on his bike:

Some of us went and toured the Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa.

On Sunday we had a HUGE wonderful meal and then picked ornaments.
We have a fun tradition where we take turns picking out Christmas ornaments
that G'ma Neva purchased throughout the year.

Here's Cooper opening his card:

Thank you, Grandma!

He also helped Grandpa Don open his gift:

My boys:

We got to do some relaxing too...

Especially Trey. :)

The Whole Family:

We had a nice weekend. Cooper and I rode back to Wichita with family and will
be here through Thanksgiving... We love the Holidays!

  1. Looks like you guys had fun. That's a great family picture! Is there a story behind Travis & Garrett's hair color?

  3. Brenda - The story behind Garret and Travis' hair is that the whole football team bleached their hair when they made it to the playoffs! HA... they looked pretty goofy. :)
