Several times this week Cooper has been very quiet while playing in his room
...when I looked in at him, this is what I found. Book worm?
Now, I know this isn't a worm... I think it's some sort of slug. But it's BIG!
Derek found it while doing some yard work last night:
Cooper took a look:
But wasn't fond of it:
Maybe cause Daddy kept suddenly moving it towards his face to make him jump?
Cooper was content to wave "Hello" to the slug from a few feet away:
Or do this... whatever it is he's doing.
Maybe he's trying to keep up with Zella by doing yoga? :)
As Tate would say...that is "bisgusting!"
ReplyDelete(the big worm, not the book worm...he is too cute!)
cooper has cool yard toys! do you go garage saleing?
ReplyDeleteThis post was adorable, but that thing is gross! I won't be walking barefoot in your yard this weekend!
ReplyDeleteHe never wants to read books with me! Perhaps he prefers to read alone.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive downward dog!
Mindy - I've only purchased one $5 toy at a garage sale. My Mother-In-Law has provided the rest!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say that Z is getting better and better at her downward dog...Cooper better watch out!!
ReplyDeletetoo cute! I love finding critters in the yard...the kids get such a kick out of it...plus, I'm a cool mom because most the time I'll pick the critters up!
ReplyDeleteI am NOT a cool mom! I'll poke the critter with a stick to make it move and that's about it! That thing is gross but so glad the little book worm is having a good time!
ReplyDeleteThey grow bigger in KC! Our slugs are really little and really slimy!
