Shopping ~ Sushi ~ Saigon with Sisters

Yesterday the kids ate a picnic lunch on Grandma's deck.

Then Cooper and I went with the Rouses to do a little shopping.
The kids entertained themselves with books at Kohls:

And Josiah entertained Cooper at Target:

And the toy aisle entertained them all for a while:

I had a girls night out with two of my sisters.
So my parent's kept Cooper... thanks, Mom & Dad!
They also had Ethan while Mandy was at a CPR class in preparation to
start her new job at Wesley Hospital! We're excited for her.

Papa took the boys on a bike ride:

And this is what us girls did... ate sushi! This was a first for Angie and I,
but Anna helped us figure out what to try and I loved it.

Mmmmmm!

After dinner we went to see the musical, Miss Saigon.
It was good and so much fun hanging out with two of my sisters.
We got this one picture of the three of us right before the sprinkler system came on and we ran for it!!

  1. Sushi is one of those foods that you randomly find yourself craving for no apparent reason. The bad thing is, if you aren't in the mood for it, it can be appalling. I wonder if there are any good sushi places here in KC?

  2. Looks like lots of fun! I haven't tried sushi--I'll have to do that sometime! Love the picture of the 3 of you together!

  3. How fun! Sister nights are the best!

Sushi is probably the number one food I miss being pregnant. We have a few good places around here and everytime we pass by, I get a little sad:) I'm glad you got to try it...the good stuff is SO good!
