Derek and I have been trying to think of a "D" name for the baby if it's a boy. To follow the not so much tradition of the same initials he and his dad share (yes, DAM - Dale Allen & Derek Allen). So... anyone have ideas of "D" names for a boy?

Ok, I'm just throwing these out here...I'm not completely thinking they're the coolest names ever, but kinda cool :)
ReplyDeleteDalten/Dalton
Dawson
Daxton (Dax)
So, I won't have hurt feelings. At all ;) I don't mind if you laugh! I laughed when I went to babynames.com and looked at the D names. ohmy.

If we were to have another boy, I would name him Shooter. That's not a D name though! Here's my favorites...

Yeehaa!
We discussed this last night:
ReplyDeleteJake says Tooper is okay, but he likes Larry the Cucumber better! Josiah's suggestions are unmentionable.
dylan/dillon
ReplyDeletedallan (yes, i really knew a person named dallan...although i'm not sure how he spelled it)
I remember you guys mentioning you liked the name Dane...personally, that is my favorite name in the world! It's my dad's middle name, and I have always loved it. Just wanted to say how excited I am for you two. These last few weeks should be pretty exciting! I'll be praying for God's best in it all! Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI like Dane, too, also spelled Dayne. I know a cute little guy named Davin (short "a" sound). Your brother is Drew, so that's probably out. I'll keep thinking!
ReplyDeleteIt's so close - we are excited!
From the list of names everyone has supplied, we like the following names best:
ReplyDeleteDane
Dax
Dash
Drew (We're big on using family names).
But then again, we named our first born Lola which is not on the "100 Most Popular Names List" these days! I'm sure you'll come up with something great!
Dear Derek and Amy,
ReplyDeleteI like the "D" names people are suggesting. The Loschen family have some good ones and interestingly enough, they chose to name their first born Lola, which is our great, great Grandma Grassmeier's name!!
My favorites are Dane, Dash, Dax, Davin, Dylan, Dalton, Devin, and Dawson.
I considered Dustin for Tyler and decided to go for Tyler instead. I really liked Dane for Drew, but Dale liked Drew. Derek mentioned Dawson to me years ago, and I have prayed for "Dawson" different times since then. So whatever the name, the baby has had prayer back when Derek was still in Jr.Hi. or so. Praise the LORD!!
