We took a break from unpacking to go check out the neighborhood park.
It's only a couple minutes away by foot and has a nice playground.
Owen had fun trying it out.
But soon wondered where his brothers where.
They had spotted the drainage ditch and were looking for creatures.
They started out looking off this little bridge.
With just their hands reaching in...
Miles snagged a worm or two. Have you ever seen a worm swim? They look like snakes!
He also found a crawdad claw. A BLUE one.
So then they were on a mission to find a whole crawfish!
They started flipping over rocks like crazy men.
And of course, Miles found one!
Thankfully there was a faucet to wash up a little.
So that we could eat our picnic lunch.
