xPPx Mini Tour Weekend - Chicago Show

Most of us had a late night on Saturday.  But not Owen and Mason...  they were up and ready to eat frozen waffles and watch PJ Masks earlier than the rest of us were ready to start the day. :)

We got around and headed to church and got there in time to have a donut before service.

Owen went to the nursery and Mason got to go to the preschool class. We weren't sure how he'd feel about it, but he didn't even care that we left the room, he did great!

Marshall, our xPPx frontman (DadMan) is also our worship leader at church.  He wasn't able to find someone to cover for him, so even though he was up until nearly 4am... he did a great job leading our church in worship.

We had time to go home for lunch and some (forced?) Mason snuggles. :)

Then left all the boys with G'ma Debbie again and headed to Chicago for our last show of the weekend.

This show was in a venue that was part of a coffee shop.  Sadly, the coffee shop was closed.

We played second that night, and since we were a little late getting there because of traffic, it all happened pretty fast.

This was a fun venue and was a fun show.

Knox and Levi hung out on stage, eating snacks, while we played.

And again, if you feel like watching the whole show....  here you go!

What a fun and exhausting weekend! :)  I'd do it all over again, but not too soon! haha.  I kept my set list as a souvenir of my first show(s).

I'm determined to learn to play the a five string before we have another show. This is Derek's brother, Tyler's, bass that I'm borrowing...   too bad I didn't have it for the Bloomington show, it would have matched my monster consume perfectly.   Because that's what it's all about, right!? 😊

There's a Black Friday sale on Parental Petulance merch through midnight 11/25/17...  go get yours while it's a steal of a deal!  Contact us through the xPPx Facebook Page to get yours!

And Happy (late) Thanksgiving!
