Where We Were

Staying with Anna was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.  Not only is she a great host, but their place is great!  We enjoyed it so much...  One morning Cooper chilled out on their beautiful lanai watching a movie.

And again, this is one of the lagoons within walking distance.

Their condo is right across the street from one of the complex pools.  It had a zero entry kids area with fine gravel in it.  It was great for playing in but didn't track around like sand.

There was a wall that divided that part from the deeper pool too.  I liked this since I could sit and watch both boys while they played.  Miles in a foot of water and Cooper in three.

By the end of our visit Miles was spending more time in the deep pool though.

He was an expert water wing swimmer after 10 days.
His little feet kicking could motor him wherever he wanted to go!

We swam at the pool here and there when not at the beach.
Or after the beach, this was great for not taking as much sand into Anna's house.

It took me three days to convince Cooper that the tiled turtles on the bottom of the pool weren't real.  After that he liked to swim down and touch them.

Anna's house is also within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants.

And a little ice cream shop!

We grilled and ate dinner on the pool patio quite a bit so we got to enjoy the pool at night.

The shallow end had lights that changed colors... this mesmerized my boys.

There was a hot tub in the courtyard behind Anna's condo too.
One night after the boys were in bed we left Anna with them and snuck down for a while.

This is the only shot I got of their condo.  Theirs is the upper right unit.

So you go upstairs to go in.

Perfect destination.  We loved it.
