Weinert Wedding - Louisville Slugger Museum (Part Three)

Owen loved having Aunt Angie nearby at the museum.

I'm pretty sure he said, "Look at this, Aunt Angie" about 842 times! :)

We watched a short film on the history of baseball.

Then took a look at some player's bats!  If you look closely, you can see all the  names of the players whose bats are on display.

You're required to wear gloves to touch any of them.

And a museum employee has to hand you the one you'd like to hold.

Cooper held a couple, but his favorite was Alex Gordon's!

Owen got to hold a generic bat, but he didn't know the difference. Ha.

We perused the gift shop.

Where Miles talked Aunt Angie into giving him $.51.

So he could make a souvenir penny.

Lastly, we let the boys try out the batting cages.

They loved it.

Owen found the tee ball cage, but he didn't want to use the plastic bat provided, he insisted on using his mini souvenir bat.

And was quite thrilled with the results!

We finished up and it was time to say goodbye to Angie...

Then we left and hit the road for home!!
What a great weekend!
Congrats again to Daniel and Corrie!!!
...who were headed off on a Caribbean honeymoon!
