CrossPoint Hayride & Bonfife

In November, our church held the annual Hayride & Bonfire night.  The Property Manager of a local Salvation Army Camp attends our church, this is where we gathered for a great evening.  It has facilities that work perfectly.  We started up a game of sand volleyball, though it did't last long with so many kids involved. :)

We ate grilled hot dogs and sides.

...and cupcakes!

Then went for a hike to work it off. ha.

This platform looked out over the valley.

Owen got a great view of the activity.

I had a friend snap a photo of us standing up there.

In between the kids' trip to the bottom and back.

Then we headed back to catch the hayride.

Owen was thrilled.  I'm actually not sure what was wrong, I think he might have thought I wasn't coming along.

He wasn't happy or excited, but he wasn't crying either.

Back at the main camp, there was some basketball going on, so Derek and I joined.  I won the first round of knock out.  Just so you know.  😊

Meanwhile the kids were playing a game of human foosball.  They loved it, what a fun idea!

We wrapped up the evening with s'more around the fire.

Again, it was great evening spent with church family.
