Easter Box/Basket

We don't do Easter Baskets for our boys, but every year they get a package of Easter goodies from my parents.  This year's arrived while we were at the grocery store, but because the boys were in trouble for the way they'd behaved while shopping, they didn't get to open it that day.  (It's like every time they get a whiff of "grocery store air" they turn into crazy people!)

I told Mom it arrived and she asked if they opened it.  When I told her the situation, she informed me there were some goodies in there suited to adults too.  Since this piece of information came after the boys were in bed, we opened the bottom of the box, took out what we would want, and closed it back up.  :)

And the boys were none the wiser the next day.

...when I finally let them rip into it.

They got it open enough to know there were yummy things inside.

And then had to cut some more.

Which revealed all the wonderful gifts.
(excluding the Nifty Nut House items, of course)

Like Easter Egg bubble gum.

Edible grass.

And yoyos.

A few things were spilled into the bottom of the box.
(Before it was tampered with, I promise)

Which left easy access for sampling.

Thanks Grandma & Papa for all the fun stuff!

Even the grass.  After tasting it, Miles suggested we put salt on it and maybe it would taste better.  :)
